Representative Chrissy Houlahan

Dear [firstname],

In this edition of our newsletter, I want to share two things with you: 1) what my team and I were able to deliver for our community this past year, and 2) important updates about COVID testing sites near you.

As the first week of our 2022 congressional session comes to a close, I wanted to reach out and share with you the Year In Review materials that my team and I put together! We helped thousands of Pennsylvanians navigate federal agencies, responded to more than 60,000 calls and emails, and returned over 4 million dollars to our community - and we are ready for another great year serving you, the hardworking people of Pennsylvania.

I am so proud of all we've accomplished on behalf of Pennsylvanians and all Americans. At the same time, we know COVID-19 is still top of mind for many in our community, so please find relevant updates on vaccine/booster locations and new testing sites in this quick update. This past year has been challenging, and we are focused on working hard to improve the lives and livelihoods of folks in Berks and Chester counties. If you are struggling, please reach out to our office - we are here to help.

Highlighting Our Community's Successes

Looking beyond the numbers, this year I successfully fought to help our community weather the pandemic, recover economically, and rebuild our failing infrastructure. I worked to negotiate and pass the American Rescue Plan to support our small businesses, I pushed for expanded child tax credits and paid leave to support our working families, and I have continuously searched for ways to expand access to tests, vaccinations, and quality health care in a bipartisan way. To get a better sense of all we accomplished on behalf of our community, watch our Year In Review video below:

Sharing COVID-19 Vaccine/Booster + Testing Information

While I am so proud of all that we accomplished last year, the Omicron Variant of COVID-19 is an indicator that we still face steep challenges. Especially in recent weeks, I've heard from many concerned community members about limited available testing. My team and I compiled updated information to save you time. Please find updated testing sites on our website HERE and find a place to get your vaccine or booster at VACCINES.GOV.

I am so inspired by the stories of our community coming together to support each other during this time. I could not be prouder to represent our district and our Commonwealth down in Washington D.C., and I look forward to continuing to fight for our community in the busy year to come. I hope to see you all very soon, and I hope you and your families stay safe and healthy as we greet the new year.

Talk to you soon,
