Thanks to science, a national vaccine plan provided by our American Rescue Plan, and each of you for helping our community lead the nation in vaccinations, our community is excitedly returning to life pre-pandemic. There are, however, some lessons our office learned over the course of the pandemic that are sticking around. One such lesson is bringing together Congresspeople from across our diverse and vibrant nation to speak with our community for our anti-racism policy series.

So far, we've had conversations about justice in policing with Rep. Karen Bass, health equity with Rep. Lauren Underwood, and gun violence prevention with Rep. Lucy McBath. We are thrilled to announce this week we'll be tackling environmental justice with Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán from California's 44th Congressional District!

An advocate in Congress on environmental justice, Rep. Nanette Diaz Barragán will speak to her advocacy on this issue and how the problems facing her district aren't so different than ours right here in Chester and Berks counties.
