Dear [firstname],
I'm checking in to share what my team and I have been working on for our community, Commonwealth, and country. In this e-newsletter you’ll learn about: - My recent town hall focused on inflation, gun violence, and reproductive health.
- My work to support our troops and protect our homeland with the Hudson Institute.
- My efforts to protect reproductive health for all Pennsylvanians.
- How we helped a constituent in Downingtown resolve his issue with immigration services.
Serving as our community’s representative is the honor of my lifetime, and I can best serve our community by hearing directly from you. We are planning next month’s town hall (our 64th!), so please fill out the survey below to assist us in choosing the topic. As always, please contact my office if you need assistance.

Recently, I held my 63rd town hall at the Village Library of Morgantown to discuss my efforts to address inflation, high gas prices, community safety, and other issues. I also provided an update on my work in D.C. on behalf of Chester and Berks Counties to advance meaningful legislation to fix our supply chains, become less reliant on China, reduce gun violence, and invest in our infrastructure.
To date, I have held more town halls than any member of the Pennsylvania delegation. As our community’s representative, it is important to me to be available, transparent, and accountable to you. I will continue to travel across our district to reach as many of you as possible. So, if this one was too far away or not at a convenient time, we hope to be in your corner of the district very soon! I hope you’ll stay in touch with our office and know that I will keep you informed about my efforts.
If you missed my town hall on July 11th, you can find the full recording on my website.

Last week, we moved the annual defense authorization bill forward. As the only Pennsylvanian on the Armed Services Committee, I'm proud to represent our community’s many service members, veterans, and their families in Washington as we work to strengthen our national security for years to come. I also had the opportunity to speak at the Hudson Institute to discuss how the U.S. can address the national security concerns posed by China and Russia. The ongoing invasion of Ukraine highlights Russia’s persistent threat to democracies worldwide, as other authoritarian leaders hope to replicate their repression. The best way to confront this scourge is to engage with our allies and support them however we can.

Even among developed nations, the U.S. leads in high maternal mortality rates, especially among women of color. Speaking at the launch of the United Nations Population Fund’s (UNFPA) report “Seeing the Unseen,” was indeed an honor. This year’s report covered the crisis of unintended pregnancy, a critical issue that affects our world's health and development and has implications for the advancement of human rights around the globe. Addressing this crisis will require effort from all of us.
I am grateful to Governor Tom Wolf for signing an executive order that protects abortion providers and women who travel to Pennsylvania seeking abortion care. I am proud to continue this work in DC by voting in favor of the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act last week. This bill prohibits individuals from interfering with women traveling to receive abortion services in states where abortion is legal. As our community’s representative, I assure you that I will vote as many times as I need to guarantee that everyone has the freedom to decide what is best for themselves, their health, and their families.

Being able to travel abroad for business or pleasure is something many of us desire to do. Our office understands how difficult it can be to navigate citizenship and immigration services to make that possible, so we are available and eager to help our constituents while we work on long-term solutions to the backlogs in federal agencies.
Parag wrote this about his experience with our office. It’s an honor to be able to help our constituents, and Parag’s words mean a lot to our team.
If you need help with a federal agency, call our office or contact us through our website.
Serving as our community’s representative is the honor of my lifetime, and I hope to hear from you soon about any issue that concerns you.
As always, please contact my office if you need assistance. Be well and see you soon Sincerely,
