September 23: FEMA Town Hall; October 12: Job Fair

Dear [firstname],

It's a busy time in our community, so this update will be short and to the point: I'm hosting a Job Fair at West Chester University on Tuesday, October 12 from 3:00-7:00PM, and I need your help to spread the word to both job seekers and employers.

After hearing from so many companies in our community, both large and small, who are eager to fill open positions, my team and I organized a job fair in direct response to the needs of our businesses. We have a talented and diverse workforce so it’s no surprise our community is home to some of the Commonwealth’s most vibrant companies. Our economy is growing and I want to make sure you are part of it! I hope you'll join us.

We also want to invite you to our FEMA Telephone Town Hall tomorrow, September 22 at 5:00PM. Please find details for both events below, and we hope to hear from you soon.

ICYMI: FEMA Telephone Town Hall Tomorrow

This week, Chester County opened a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Downingtown to help residents access resources and recover from Hurricane Ida. We are hosting a FEMA Telephone Town Hall tomorrow, September 23 at 5:00PM with two experts to answer your questions about this new center and other resources available to you.To participate, dial (855) 731-4616.

I've traveled across the district to Oxford, Modena (pictured below), Coatesville, Downingtown, and Phoenixville to see the storm damage firsthand. Our recovery is only beginning, and I’m committed to our collaborative work for our community in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Rep. Houlahan meets with small business owners and borough officials from Modena.

I stand ready to help you and will continue to support the need for public assistance so our municipalities – our roads, bridges, and public area – will get the assistance needed from the federal government.

As always, we invite you to call our office or message us through our contact form about this event or any other issue. It is the honor of my lifetime to serve our community in Pennsylvania. Please take care and be well.

Respectfully,
