Making your voice heard!

Dear [firstname],

I hope this quick note finds you safe and healthy. Across our Commonwealth, we are making our voices heard at the ballot box (and drop box!). From first-timers to our seasoned voters, I'm so excited to see our engaged community exercising their constitutional right to vote. As a veteran, I believe that it is both our profound privilege and responsibility to make our voices heard.

Our office has been in close contact with both Chester and Berks counties Voter Services, and I want to take a moment to commend their efforts this election season in the face of unprecedented circumstances. The integrity of our elections is fundamental to our democracy, and I know their leadership will ensure every eligible vote is counted in the coming days.

This is a time in our nation's history where we are being called upon to be our best selves. I've seen our community answer that call time and again, and it's the honor of my lifetime to serve as our Representative.

Resources to Vote Safely and Confidently

Polling Locations

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a small number of polling locations have changed. If you're voting in person on Election Day, take a few minutes to confirm your precinct's polling location address before heading out the door.

Ballot Drop Box Locations

Ballot drop boxes are a safe way to return your mail-in ballot! County officials are advising voters who are still in possession of their mail-in ballot to return it to a ballot drop box instead of placing it in the mail over concerns of delivery time. Return your ballot as soon as you are able.

Chester County has 10 ballot drop box locations, and Berks County has 2 ballot drop locations. See addresses and hours of operation here

ICYMI: Our Voting Safely in 2020 Town Hall Series

We hosted a 7-part town hall series answering your questions about voting from home, important deadlines, and more. My special guests, including Attorney General Josh Shapiro and PA Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, and I answered questions from hundreds of constituents--thanks to everyone who joined! If you weren't able to attend, read local coverage about the town hall series here. Remember, you can find all of this voting information and more on our website.

This election has spurred a tremendous amount of voter participation, and our Commonwealth (like much of the nation) is well on its way to shatter mail-in ballot records. According to Pennsylvania law, counties can only start counting mail-in ballots on Election Day. Please be patient as our community, Commonwealth, and country await the results of this important election. We all deserve a fair and accurate count. Your vote is your voice, and I thank you for exercising this important civic responsibility.

We want to hear from you. As always, we invite you to call one of our offices or fill out our contact form to share your thoughts about this or any other issue. Feel free to pass this update along to friends of our community so they can keep in touch too. We're all in this together.
