For several years now, Members of Congress have been able to request federal funding for various projects in their community. These grants are part of the appropriations process and are called Community Project Funding. From Sinking Spring to Oxford and all across our district, many community members are familiar with these projects and have experienced their beneficial results firsthand.
In recent years, I have been able to secure funding for various projects for local governments and nonprofits, such as $750,000 to help restore commuter rail service to Reading from Philadelphia, $216,656 for the Borough of West Grove to revitalize pedestrian walkways, $1,450,000 for Albright College's Total Experience Learning program for STEM education, and $1,056,000 to Phoenixville Area Community Services for infrastructure improvements.
These are just a few of the past projects my office has requested and secured funding for in our community. You can find a complete list here. Please note that Fiscal Year 2024 projects have only been requested, not secured.
