The 25th Amendment

Pennsylvania state icon
On the day Congress came together to certify the electoral college votes, the President incited an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in an effort to undermine the will of the American people. His actions were a threat not only to our Democratic Republic, but also to our national security.

The following morning, at roughly 1:30AM, I defended our Pennsylvania electoral votes on the House Floor. Despite the best attempts of those wishing to see our democracy fall, the House and Senate reconvened to ensure that the will of the people of Pennsylvania and the nation was honored. Our country’s resolve is being tested. We will find our fortitude and pass this test. Our democracy is worth it.

Already, my office is fielding hundreds of calls and messages in response to yesterday's attack, and we are listening to your thoughts on what we must do as a nation to heal. That's why I put together a simple, one-question survey: Do you believe the Vice President and Cabinet should invoke the 25th Amendment? It's time sensitive that I hear from as many of you as possible. Please take a minute to complete the short survey below and sign up for my updates.
