Getting Pennsylvanians Vaccinated
Each week, our team looks at the many calls, emails, and letters we receive (about 2,600 on average) to answer one simple, yet most important question: What is our community most concerned about right now?
We use this timely information to prioritize and concentrate our efforts, and this has been especially true the past few months. As we heard reports of issues with vaccine supply and appointments, we took action. While we still have a ways to go, we are now part of the
most vaccinated
community in Pennsylvania. That's right - we are leading the way. It's a huge accomplishment in which we should all take pride. In fact, Governor Wolf just
announced
that mask orders will be lifted when 70% of Pennsylvanian adults are fully vaccinated, in accordance with the latest CDC guidance.
As Congress continues to address the effects of the global pandemic, my team and I are listening to your thoughts on what we must do to build back better. So I've put together a simple survey to understand where we stand on vaccines. They continue to be our best tool to safely rebuild our Commonwealth. It's time sensitive that I hear from as many of you as possible. Please take a minute to complete the short survey below and sign up for my updates.
1) Are you fully vaccinated according the the CDC's guidelines? (Two weeks after second shot of Pfizer or Moderna or single shot of Johnson & Johnson.)
*
Yes
No
2) If you responded 'no' to the question above, are you...
Waiting for your second shot?
Within the two-week waiting period for full vaccination?
Not able to travel to a vaccine clinic?
In need of more vaccine supplies in your area?
Not planning to get the vaccine?
Other
3) What do you think is the most important action public health officials can take right now to help our community understand the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine?

Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey. Your responses help inform my conversations with federal, state, and local officials. I'm committed to serving our community and hearing your voices helps me best honor that commitment.
Chester County residents can register interest in scheduling a vaccine appointment with the Chester County Health Department for the COVID-19 vaccine
here
. Likewise, Berks County residents can visit the
Berks vaccine webpage
to schedule an appointment.
As always, if you have more to say on this issue, or any other issue,
share your thoughts
with our team.
