WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) released the following statement on Putin and Erdogan’s new agreement.

 “We abandoned the Kurds, brave men and women who fought alongside us against ISIS, and left them to die,” said Houlahan. “And now, Russia has predictably stepped in to increase its influence in the Middle East. The Administration’s willingness to seemingly be an enabler for Russia is unacceptable and dangerous. The America I served and continue to serve does not abandon its allies and does not enable its foes.”

Houlahan is an Air Force veteran, an engineer, a serial entrepreneur, an educator, and a nonprofit leader. She’s in her first term representing Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District, which encompasses Chester County and southern Berks County. She serves on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Small Business Committee.
