WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) issued the following statement: I was dismayed to learn of the threat to Justice Kavanaugh’s life and have been disheartened by news of protesters gathering at the homes of several Supreme Court Justices. While I, too, am angry about the Roe leak and what that could mean for women’s health across the country, protesting at a Justice’s home is inappropriate – it’s intimidation of them and their families. Peaceful demonstrations should, instead, be conducted in public places like the Supreme Court building itself. One of the ways our nation works to maintain the Court’s nonpartisan integrity is by enabling them to make decisions in the best interest of the country, without a fear that by doing so, they are sacrificing their own safety or that of their families.
