Houlahan Hosts Community Project Funding Grants Webinar

Over 150 community members attended the virtual event

WEST CHESTER, PA – Yesterday, Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) and her staff hosted a webinar focused on Community Project Funding Grants and the application process. While Congress has not yet passed Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations bills that fund Community Project Funding Grants, Houlahan wanted to ensure her community is best equipped to submit applications for Fiscal Year 2025 once the application process starts. Houlahan will make residents of Berks and Chester Counties aware of the deadline and process starting once FY 2024 appropriations bills are passed.

The event started with Houlahan sharing her thoughts on Community Project Funding Grants.

“What I hope you will take away is this: these Community Project Funding Grants make a difference,” said Houlahan. “This is one of the best examples I can think of where the federal government is able to directly impact our home districts. And no one knows what is better for our communities than our communities.”
