Houlahan Issues Statement on President Joe Biden’s Historic Legacy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) issued the following statement about President Joe Biden’s lifetime of service to the American people:
 
President Joe Biden is one of our nation’s best, most impactful presidents. He restored America’s reputation as a global leader; brought us out of the pandemic; made bipartisanship, equity, civility, and decency core tenets of his administration; and passed historic legislation that will make us safer, modernize our infrastructure, help our environment, and better position us to compete in the global economy. The country, and in fact the world, is a better place because of him.
 
President Biden has only ever had the best interests of the nation and the world foremost in his mind - and we all owe him a debt of gratitude.

Through his fifty years of service - as a U.S. Senator, Vice President, and now President - he and his family have sacrificed a great deal and I thank them for their extraordinary service to our country.
 
Houlahan is an Air Force veteran, an engineer, a serial entrepreneur, an educator, and a nonprofit leader. She represents Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District, which encompasses Chester County and southern Berks County. She serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. She is the recipient of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award which “recognizes members who demonstrate the bipartisan leadership and constructive governing necessary to move our country forward” and the Congressional Management Foundation’s 2022 Democracy Award for best Constituent Services in Congress.
