“Every American deserves access to affordable, quality health care,” said Houlahan. “Unfortunately, this Republican majority has spent the past ten months pushing legislation to strip away health insurance coverage, slash Medicaid and Medicare, make prescription drugs more expensive and weaponize hunger to play to their base. I cannot support legislation that intentionally harms the majority of Americans while rewarding billionaires and lawmakers themselves."
